Featured video of the solo exhibition “What Matters Entangles, What EmBodies Resonates” by Flavia Mazzanti during DIG SHIBUYA 2025 (Tokyo, Japan)

CONTRAST presents the first solo exhibition in Japan by Flavia Mazzanti, a multimedia artist based in Vienna and São Paulo. Using digital art, immersive technology, and experimental animation, the artist explores the relationship between the body and its physical and social environment, offering new perspectives through post-anthropocentrism and posthumanism.

CONTRAST presents two representative works by Flavia Mazzanti, a multimedia artist based in Vienna and São Paulo: “Sympoietic Bodies” and “Beyond My Skin”. In “Sympoietic Bodies”, she explores the disruption of boundaries between the human body and its social and physical surroundings. In “Beyond My Skin”, movements from physical bodies are captured and transformed into abstract lines and organic formations.
